The premise revolves around these diverse characters “sliding” from one universe to another, encountering alternate versions of Earth where historical events, societal norms, and even the laws of physics differ. They have no way to get home, and hope the next slide will be there. Each episode presents a new world with its own set of challenges and dilemmas, as the unlikely group of friends learn to rely on each other to navigate the complexities of the multiverse.

Throughout its run, “Sliders” explored themes of identity, ethics, and the consequences of choice, offering a thought-provoking narrative complemented by its inventive premise. The actors, had issues with each other, but remained professional onscreen. Ultimately the show had cast changes and shifts in creative direction.  But Sci-fi fans of Sliders remained dedicated, probably because of the plausible premise of the multi-worlds theory.

Sliders offers an escape into the realms of possibility which only seem limited by our imagination. If you missed this humanistic sci-fi the first time round, or merely missed a few episodes, have a second look.  What is your favorite altered world? Where would you want to stay?

On continuous play!  Each episode will play in sequence! Perfect for binge watching !
