]]> Super Friends first hit the airways in September 1973 on ABC. DC comic heroes Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, Superman and Aquaman were brought together using Filmation’s voice actors. Wonder woman was introduced as a guest star for two episodes, along with Superman, on the Brady Kids animated series before super Friends aired. Keeping the original voice actors, made the show resonate with it’s young audience

Secondary sidekicks unknown in the comics were introduced. None of the trio of Wendy Harris, Marvin White or Wonder Dog, demonstrated any special abilities, but there were superheroes in training.

Some notable voice actors were: Ted Knight, Adam West, Casey Kasem, Shannon Farnon and Sherry Alberoni.
