Leave It to Beaver is a black-and-white American television sitcom broadcast between 1957 and 1963 about an inquisitive and often naïve boy, Theodore “The Beaver” Cleaver (Jerry Mathers), and his adventures at home, school, and around his suburban neighborhood. The show also starred Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont as Beaver’s parents, June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow as Beaver’s brother Wally. The Cleavers exemplifyied the idealized suburban family of the 20th century

If you want to know what inner city Chicago looked and felt like in the 1970s then this show is for you. Good Times is a sitcom that aired for six seasons and showed a black family in the projects. They struggle to overcome poverty while dealing with both typical family problems and social problems of being in a ghetto.

That Girl was a TV show that aired from 1966 to 1971. It was perhaps the first “working girl” sitcom in American television history. But what really makes it unique was that the lead character, Anne Marie, wore the greatest clothes that were available at the time. In fact I think most of today’s fashionistas would still wear everything that was in the show.
