]]> This is the story of Harry Broderick (Played by Andy Griffith) a scrapyard owner and specialist in reclaiming junk to resell. He dreams of recovering equipment left on the moon by the Apollo Space Program. In the opening narration Harry says, “I wanna build a spaceship, go to the Moon, salvage all the junk that’s up there, bring it back and sell it.”.

He solicits the help of Addison “Skip” Carmichael (Joel Higgins) and a former NASA fuel expert Melanie “Mel” Slozar (Trisha Stewart). During the fuel experiments he draws unwanted attention from the FBI because of his chemical purchases.
