A man named Billie Joe (aka. “B.J.” McKay) is a professional freelance trucker. He travels the highways of the United states in a red and white Kenworth. Meanwhile his sidekick is his pet chimpanzee that he calls “Bear.” The entire premise of this show is that he gets mixed up in solving crimes because some young, beautiful woman needs his help.
