Adam-12 was a realistic capture of a normal work day of police officers on patrol. The TV series ran from 1968 to 1975 and both introduced law enforcement jargon and procedures to the public. The setting is the Los Angeles Poloice Department with officers Pete Malloy and Jim Reed patrolling the L.A streets in their car. Martin Milner and Kent McCord play the lead roles.
