Ellen Aim is giving a concert in a city ravaged by crime and despair. She gets kidnapped right off the stage by a motorcycle gang “The Bombers”. Billy Fish, Ellen’s devoted manager, hires her ex boyfriend, a mercenary named Tom Cody, to rescue Ellen from the Bomber’s nightclub. Cody is joined by McCoy, an ex-soldier, mechanical prodigy and Fish in his mission to take back Ellen from the derelicts of society while avoiding the cops who see the vigilantes as part of the problem in a city over-run by gangs.
This movie, described as a “neo-noir” rock musical, is set in an alternate reality that mixes 1950s elements with 1980s themes. The acting seems weak, but it is most likely a bad script as the cast includes a young Rick Morannis, and hunky heartthrob Micheal Pare. The musical score is pretty good too, so long as you don’t take this movie too seriously, you will enjoy it.
