A very successful Hollywood movie maker, John Sullivan, has convinced himself that he won’t be able to make his masterpiece film “Brother where art thou, until he as suffered. So he disguises himself as a hobo and sets off on a journey. Aiming to “know hardship” first-hand, he finds a beautiful blonde and returns to Hollywood. Still determined he tries again and ends up losing his memory and working on a prison chain gang.
